(창 7:1-24, 새번역) “「1」 주님께서 노아에게 말씀하셨다. "내가 보니, 이 세상에 의로운 사람이라고는 너밖에 없구나. 너는 식구들을 다 데리고, 방주로 들어가거라.
「2」 모든 정결한 짐승은 수컷과 암컷으로 일곱 쌍씩, 그리고 부정한 짐승은 수컷과 암컷으로 두 쌍씩, 네가 데리고 가거라.
「3」 그러나 공중의 새는 수컷과 암컷 일곱 쌍씩 데리고 가서, 그 씨가 온 땅 위에 살아 남게 하여라.
「4」 이제 이레가 지나면, 내가 사십 일 동안 밤낮으로 땅에 비를 내려서, 내가 만든 생물을 땅 위에서 모두 없애 버릴 것이다."
「5」 노아는 주님께서 명하신 대로 다 하였다.
「6」 땅 위에서 홍수가 난 것은, 노아가 육백 살 되던 해이다.
「7」 노아는 홍수를 피하려고, 아들들과 아내와 며느리들을 데리고, 함께 방주로 들어갔다.
「8」 정결한 짐승과 부정한 짐승과, 새와 땅 위를 기어다니는 모든 것도,
「9」 하나님이 노아에게 명하신 대로, 수컷과 암컷 둘씩 노아에게로 와서, 방주로 들어갔다.
「10」 이레가 지나서, 홍수가 땅을 뒤덮었다.
「11」 노아가 육백 살 되는 해의 둘째 달, 그 달 열이렛날, 바로 그 날에 땅 속 깊은 곳에서 큰 샘들이 모두 터지고, 하늘에서는 홍수 문들이 열려서,
「12」 사십 일 동안 밤낮으로 비가 땅 위로 쏟아졌다.
「13」 바로 그 날, 노아와, 노아의 세 아들 셈과 함과 야벳과, 노아의 아내와, 세 며느리가, 함께 방주로 들어갔다.
「14」 그들과 함께, 모든 들짐승이 그 종류대로, 모든 집짐승이 그 종류대로, 땅 위를 기어다니는 모든 길짐승이 그 종류대로, 날개 달린 모든 날짐승이 그 종류대로, 방주로 들어갔다.
「15」 살과 피를 지닌 살아 숨쉬는 모든 것들이 둘씩 노아에게 와서, 방주로 들어갔다.
「16」 하나님이 노아에게 명하신 대로, 살과 피를 지닌 살아 숨쉬는 모든 것들의 수컷과 암컷이 짝을 지어 방주 안으로 들어갔다. 마지막으로 노아가 들어가니, 주님께서 몸소 문을 닫으셨다.
「17」 땅 위에서는 홍수가 사십 일 동안 계속되었다. 물이 불어나서, 방주가 땅에서 높이 떠올랐다.
「18」 물이 불어나서 땅에 크게 넘치니, 방주가 물 위로 떠다녔다.
「19」 땅에 물이 크게 불어나서, 온 하늘 아래에 있는 모든 높은 산들이 물에 잠겼다.
「20」 물은 그 높은 산들을 잠그고도, 열다섯 자나 더 불어났다.
「21」 새와 집짐승과 들짐승과 땅에서 기어다니는 모든 것과 사람까지, 살과 피를 지니고 땅 위에서 움직이는 모든 것들이 다 죽었다.
「22」 마른 땅 위에서 코로 숨을 쉬며 사는 것들이 모두 죽었다.
「23」 이렇게 주님께서는 땅 위에 사는 모든 생물을 없애 버리셨다. 사람을 비롯하여 짐승까지, 길짐승과 공중의 새에 이르기까지, 땅 위에서 모두 없애 버리셨다. 다만 노아와 방주에 들어간 사람들과 짐승들만이 살아 남았다.
「24」 물이 불어나서, 백오십 일 동안이나 땅을 뒤덮었다.”
(창 7:1-24, NIV11) “「1」 The LORD then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.
「2」 Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate,
「3」 and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth.
「4」 Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”
「5」 And Noah did all that the LORD commanded him.
「6」 Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters came on the earth.
「7」 And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives entered the ark to escape the waters of the flood.
「8」 Pairs of clean and unclean animals, of birds and of all creatures that move along the ground,
「9」 male and female, came to Noah and entered the ark, as God had commanded Noah.
「10」 And after the seven days the floodwaters came on the earth.
「11」 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on the seventeenth day of the second month - on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened.
「12」 And rain fell on the earth forty days and forty nights.
「13」 On that very day Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, together with his wife and the wives of his three sons, entered the ark.
「14」 They had with them every wild animal according to its kind, all livestock according to their kinds, every creature that moves along the ground according to its kind and every bird according to its kind, everything with wings.
「15」 Pairs of all creatures that have the breath of life in them came to Noah and entered the ark.
「16」 The animals going in were male and female of every living thing, as God had commanded Noah. Then the LORD shut him in.
「17」 For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth.
「18」 The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water.
「19」 They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered.
「20」 The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits.
「21」 Every living thing that moved on land perished - birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.
「22」 Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died.
「23」 Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; people and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.
「24」 The waters flooded the earth for a hundred and fifty days.”

🌊 하나님의 진노하심과 심판, 하나님의 구원, 그리고 나의 사명
창세기 7:1–24
1. 죄악으로 가득한 세상
“여호와께서 사람의 죄악이 세상에 가득함과 그 마음으로 생각하는 모든 계획이 항상 악할 뿐임을 보시고… 사람 지으셨음을 한탄하사…” (창 6:5–7)
사람들의 생각과 계획은 항상 악함뿐이었다.
하나님은 “지으셨음을 한탄”하시며, 온 땅을 쓸어버리시기로 하셨다.
땅은 법도 없이 타락했고, 하나님 앞에 부패하였다. (12–13절)
개인적인 고백:
그랜드캐니언, 자이언 캐니언, 브라이스 캐니언, 세도나—그 거대한 절경 앞에서 하나님의 말씀을 외면할 수 없었습니다. 창세기의 심판 이야기는 전설이 아니라 진리였습니다. 하나님은 참으로 의로우신 분이십니다.
2. 방주: 언약과 구원의 상징
“그러나 노아는 여호와께 은혜를 입었더라.” (창 6:8)
하나님은 노아에게 상세히 방주를 만들 것을 명하셨다—배가 아닌 상자, 구원의 방주였다.
노아는 그 시대에 의롭고 완전한 사람이었으며 하나님과 동행했다.
방주는 세 층으로 나뉘었고, 안팎으로 역청을 발라 물에 잠기지 않도록 했다.
하나님은 언약을 세우시고, 노아 가족과 동물들을 구원하시겠다고 하셨다.
묵상:
방주는 하나님의 심판 속에서 주어진 은혜의 상징이었습니다. 구원은 인간의 도피가 아니라 하나님의 언약 안으로 들어가는 것임을 알게 되었습니다.
3. 심판: 온 땅을 덮은 하나님의 물
“물이 더 많아져 땅에 넘치매… 천하의 높은 산이 다 잠겼더니” (창 7:18–20)
비는 40일 밤낮으로 내렸고, 물은 150일 동안 땅을 덮었다.
모든 생명체가 숨을 거두었고, 육체를 가진 존재들은 다 죽었다.
오직 방주에 들어간 자들만이 살아남았다. (21–24절)
창조과학 묵상:
그랜드캐니언과 브라이스 캐니언은 더 이상 단순한 자연 관광지가 아닙니다. 전 지구적 대홍수의 흔적일 수 있다는 것을 깨닫게 되었고, 하나님의 공의와 심판의 역사가 실제였음을 믿게 되었습니다.
4. 방주에 들어가라: 지금은 은혜의 시간
“그 날에 노아와 그 아들 셋과 노아의 아내와 세 며느리가 다 방주로 들어갔고… 여호와께서 그를 들여보내고 문을 닫으시니라.” (창 7:13–16)
노아와 가족, 그리고 모든 동물의 종류들이 하나님의 명령대로 방주에 들어갔다.
방주의 문은 하나님께서 직접 닫으셨다—구원의 문, 동시에 심판의 문이었다.
믿음의 고백:
문이 닫힌 후에는 돌이킬 수 없었습니다. 오늘날의 방주는 예수 그리스도이십니다. 나는 그리스도 안에 거할 때만 심판에서 구원받는다는 사실을 확신하게 되었습니다. 그래서 지금 나는 영혼 구원의 사명을 붙들고 살고 있습니다.
5. 말씀은 진리입니다: 성경은 틀리지 않았습니다
이재만 선교사님의 안내로 창조과학 탐방을 하며, 나는 말씀의 진리 앞에 무릎을 꿇게 되었습니다. 대홍수는 신화가 아니라 역사입니다. 심판은 실제였고, 다시 한 번 올 것입니다. 그러나 동시에 구원도 열려 있습니다.

🌊 God's Wrath, Noah’s Ark, and My Calling
Genesis 7:1–24
1. The World Under Judgment
“The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become…” (Gen 6:5–7)
Humanity’s thoughts were “only evil continually.”
God grieved over His creation: "I regret that I have made them.”
Lawlessness and corruption filled the earth. (v.12–13)
God’s justice would come as a flood of judgment.
Personal Response:
As I stood in awe of the vast rocks and canyons shaped by time and floodwaters, I could not ignore the warning of Scripture: the world once faced judgment, and so it will again. God's Word is not a myth—it is truth.
2. The Ark: Covenant and Salvation
“But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.” (Gen 6:8)
God gave Noah detailed instructions to build the ark—not a boat, but a box, a vessel of covenant (v.14–16).
Noah was righteous and walked with God.
The ark had three levels, was sealed, and prepared according to divine design.
God made a covenant: Noah, his family, and representatives of every kind would be saved.
Personal Insight:
The ark is a symbol of God’s mercy in the midst of wrath. It reminded me that salvation is not about escaping trouble, but about entering into God's covenant by faith and obedience.
3. The Flood: God’s Universal Judgment
“The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits.” (Gen 7:20)
The flood lasted 40 days and 40 nights, but waters covered the earth for 150 days.
Every living creature that breathed perished, except those in the ark (v.21–24).
It was total, irreversible judgment on sin.
Creation Science Reflection:
Places like the Grand Canyon and Zion Canyon now appear not just as natural wonders, but as possible testimonies of a global flood. As I walked those trails, I didn’t just see beauty—I saw God’s justice.
4. Entering the Ark: God's Gracious Invitation
“Then the LORD shut him in.” (Gen 7:16)
Every pair of animals entered.
Noah, his wife, his sons, and daughters-in-law entered as God commanded.
God Himself shut the door—marking the sealing of salvation.
My Conviction:
When the door closed, it was too late for the world. Today, the ark is Christ. In Him, we are safe from judgment. This realization has made me embrace the mission of soul salvation—before the final judgment comes.
5. Final Reflection: The Bible Is True
Through the guidance of Missionary Lee Jae-man and the breathtaking evidence in God’s creation, I’ve come to see the Bible is truth. The flood is history. God’s judgment is real. So is His grace.
Now, I live with a renewed mission:
