워십프론티어 교회(WFC)는 2008년 9월에 개척되어 현재 보스턴 인근 뉴튼(Newton Centre)에서 예배드리고 있으며, 하나님의 뜻을 이루는 도구로 쓰임받는 교회입니다. 하나님의 뜻은 모든 사람이 다 구원을 얻고 진리를 알게 되는 것입니다(딤전2:4) 이 지역에서 하나님 아버지가 찾으시는 영혼들을 구원하여 제자만드는 교회의 사명을 이루길 원합니다.

워십프론티어교회는 ‘성경대로’의 원칙으로 세워지고 있는 교회입니다. 그리스도인의 삶에 능력이 없고 행복이 없는 이유는 성경대로의 원칙을 놓쳤기때문입니다. 워십프론티어교회는 성경대로의 원칙을 따라 성경이 하라고 하면 하고 성경이 멈추라고 하면 멈추는 단순한 순종을 추구하고 있습니다.

워십프론티어회는 열매로 말하는 교회입니다. 성경적인 건강한 교회는 반드시 열매가 맺혀집니다. 믿을 수 없는 사람이 믿게 되는 열매가 있습니다. 변할 수 없는 사람이 변화되는 열매가 있습니다. 교회 생활에 기쁨이 있는 열매가 있습니다.

특별히 보스턴 지역의 수많은 학생들에게 능력있게 복음을 증거하기 위해 가족의 관계성을 담아내고 있는 목장(house church)을 세워나가고 있습니다. 이를 위해 사랑과 섬김과 기도로 목장을 섬기는 목자님들의 놀라운 헌신이 가득한 교회 입니다. 목장은 하나님의 가족 공동체이며 하나님을 체험하는 곳입니다. 따뜻한 사랑을 통하여 하나님의 사랑을 체험합니다. 생활과 감정을 나누면서 하나님의 치유를 경험합니다. 기도응답을 통하여 하나님의 능력을 경험합니다.

이시대는 세상에 충격을 주는 제자도가 필요한 때입니다. 세상에 충격을 주는 제자도는 주님께서 보여주신 섬기는 리더십을 갖추는 것입니다. 이러한 제자도는 지식과 말이 넘치는 제자훈련을 통해서가 아니라, 목자의 희생과 헌신을 보고 배우는 것을 통해서 이루어 집니다. 보고 배워야 닮아갈 수 있다고 믿습니다. 그리하여 이 지역에서 예수 그리스도를 따르는 사람들이 하나님을 예배하고 이웃을 사랑하며행복하게 살아가는 믿음의 공동체를 이루고자 모였습니다.

Worship Frontier Church (WFC) was planted in September 2008 and currently worships in Newton Centre, near Boston. We are a church committed to being used as an instrument to accomplish God's will. God's will is that all people would be saved and come to know the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). We long to fulfill our calling in this region — to save the souls God the Father is seeking, and to make them disciples.

Worship Frontier Church is being built on the principle of "living by the Word." The reason a Christian's life lacks power and joy is that this principle has been lost. Worship Frontier Church pursues simple obedience — doing what Scripture tells us to do, and stopping when Scripture tells us to stop.

Worship Frontier Church is a church that speaks through fruit. A healthy, biblical church will always bear fruit — the fruit of the unbelieving coming to believe, the fruit of the unchangeable being changed, and the fruit of joy in church life.

In particular, in order to powerfully proclaim the gospel to the many students in the Boston area, we are building house churches (Mokjang) that embody the relationships of family. This church is filled with the remarkable devotion of shepherds who serve their house churches through love, service, and prayer. A house church is God's family community, and a place to experience God — experiencing His love through warm affection, experiencing His healing through sharing life and emotions, and experiencing His power through answered prayer.

This age calls for a discipleship that shocks the world. A discipleship that shocks the world is one marked by the servant leadership Jesus himself modeled. This kind of discipleship is not achieved through discipleship training overflowing with knowledge and words, but through watching and learning from a shepherd's sacrifice and devotion — we believe that we can only grow to resemble what we watch and learn from. And so we have gathered to build a community of faith in this region — a community of those who follow Jesus Christ, worship God, love their neighbors, and live joyfully together.
