「13」 You know the old saying, "First you eat to live, and then you live to eat"? Well, it may be true that the body is only a temporary thing, but that's no excuse for stuffing your body with food, or indulging it with sex. Since the Master honors you with a body, honor him with your body!

「14」 God honored the Master's body by raising it from the grave. He'll treat yours with the same resurrection power.

「15」 Until that time, remember that your bodies are created with the same dignity as the Master's body. You wouldn't take the Master's body off to a whorehouse, would you? I should hope not.

「16」 There's more to sex than mere skin on skin. Sex is as much spiritual mystery as physical fact. As written in Scripture, "The two become one."

「17」 Since we want to become spiritually one with the Master, we must not pursue the kind of sex that avoids commitment and intimacy, leaving us more lonely than ever--the kind of sex that can never "become one."

「18」 There is a sense in which sexual sins are different from all others. In sexual sin we violate the sacredness of our own bodies, these bodies that were made for God-given and God-modeled love, for "becoming one" with another.

「19」 Or didn't you realize that your body is a sacred place, the place of the Holy Spirit? Don't you see that you can't live however you please, squandering what God paid such a high price for? The physical part of you is not some piece of property belonging to the spiritual part of you.

「20」 God owns the whole works. So let people see God in and through your body.”

(고전 6:1-11, MSG) “「1」 And how dare you take each other to court! When you think you have been wronged, does it make any sense to go before a court that knows nothing of God's ways instead of a family of Christians?

「2」 The day is coming when the world is going to stand before a jury made up of Christians. If someday you are going to rule on the world's fate, wouldn't it be a good idea to practice on some of these smaller cases?

「3」 Why, we're even going to judge angels! So why not these everyday affairs?

「4」 As these disagreements and wrongs surface, why would you ever entrust them to the judgment of people you don't trust in any other way?

「5」 I say this as bluntly as I can to wake you up to the stupidity of what you're doing. Is it possible that there isn't one levelheaded person among you who can make fair decisions when disagreements and disputes come up? I don't believe it.

「6」 And here you are taking each other to court before people who don't even believe in God! How can they render justice if they don't believe in the God of justice?

「7」 These court cases are an ugly blot on your community. Wouldn't it be far better to just take it, to let yourselves be wronged and forget it?

「8」 All you're doing is providing fuel for more wrong, more injustice, bringing more hurt to the people of your own spiritual family.

「9」 Don't you realize that this is not the way to live? Unjust people who don't care about God will not be joining in his kingdom. Those who use and abuse each other, use and abuse sex,

「10」 use and abuse the earth and everything in it, don't qualify as citizens in God's kingdom.

「11」 A number of you know from experience what I'm talking about, for not so long ago you were on that list. Since then, you've been cleaned up and given a fresh start by Jesus, our Master, our Messiah, and by our God present in us, the Spirit.”

- 하나님은 우리를 부르셔서 (구원하셔서) 영적 아비(어미, 부모)가 있는 공동체를 세우십니다. 사도바울은 고린도교회를 그리스도 예수안에서 복음으로 낳았다고 합니다. 뿐만 아니라 바울은 디모데를 소개하면서 주님 안에서 얻는 사랑하는 아들이라고 합니다. 사도바울은 공동체의 영적 아비로서 사랑하는 자녀들을 복되게 하기 위해 훈계하고 있습니다.

4. 믿음의 1세대가 된다

'According to the Bible' means a simple approach to the Bible, knowing that if the Bible says yes, knowing that it is not if it says no, doing it if it tells you to do it, and not doing it if it says not to do it.

It's important to look at things from God's point of view. I would rather not see you inflating or deflating reputations based on mere hearsay.

「7」 For who do you know that really knows you, knows your heart? And even if they did, is there anything they would discover in you that you could take credit for? Isn't everything you have and everything you are sheer gifts from God? So what's the point of all this comparing and competing?

「8」 You already have all you need. You already have more access to God than you can handle. Without bringing either Apollos or me into it, you're sitting on top of the world--at least God's world--and we're right there, sitting alongside you!

「9」 It seems to me that God has put us who bear his Message on stage in a theater in which no one wants to buy a ticket. We're something everyone stands around and stares at, like an accident in the street.

「10」 We're the Messiah's misfits. You might be sure of yourselves, but we live in the midst of frailties and uncertainties. You might be well-thought-of by others, but we're mostly kicked around.

「11」 Much of the time we don't have enough to eat, we wear patched and threadbare clothes, we get doors slammed in our faces,

「12」 and we pick up odd jobs anywhere we can to eke out a living. When they call us names, we say, "God bless you."

「13」 When they spread rumors about us, we put in a good word for them. We're treated like garbage, potato peelings from the culture's kitchen. And it's not getting any better.

「14」 I'm not writing all this as a neighborhood scold just to make you feel rotten. I'm writing as a father to you, my children. I love you and want you to grow up well, not spoiled.

「15」 There are a lot of people around who can't wait to tell you what you've done wrong, but there aren't many fathers willing to take the time and effort to help you grow up. It was as Jesus helped me proclaim God's Message to you that I became your father.

「16」 I'm not, you know, asking you to do anything I'm not already doing myself.

「17」 This is why I sent Timothy to you earlier. He is also my dear son, and true to the Master. He will refresh your memory on the instructions I regularly give all the churches on the way of Christ.

「18」 I know there are some among you who are so full of themselves they never listen to anyone, let alone me. They don't think I'll ever show up in person.

「19」 But I'll be there sooner than you think, God willing, and then we'll see if they're full of anything but hot air.

1. 하나님의 사역자는 신실합니다 (Ministers are faithful.)

- 성경적인 교회를 회복하기 위해서 교회의 사역자에게 요구하는 첫번째 것은 신실함입니다. 예수님은 청지기(종)을 언급하실 때, 신실함과 슬기로움에 대해서 언급하셨습니다. : “주님께서 말씀하셨다. "누가 신실하고 슬기로운 청지기겠느냐? (눅 12:42) / 누가 신실하고 슬기로운 종이겠느냐? (마 24:45) 라고 질문하셨습니다. 주님은 지금도 우리에게 그렇게 묻고 계십니다.

- 교회의 사역은 종으로서, 관리자(청지기)로서 섬김을 연습하고 순종을 연습하는 기회를 갖는 것입니다. 비유적으로 말하면, 사역자는 경비원(Guard)가 아니라 안내자(Guide)입니다. 그렇기 때문에, 신실함은 약속을 지키는 모습(Reliability)과 정교한 지식(지혜, accurate knowledge)라고 말할 수 있습니다. 정교한 지식은 지혜를 뜻하며, 구슬을 꾀는 것(threading beads), 벽돌을 쌓는 것(stacking bricks), 그리고 자전거 페달을 밟는 것(pedaling a bicycle)에 필요한 지혜와 같습니다. 페달을 밟는 것은 각각의 상황에 따라 방향과 힘(속도)을 반드시 조정해야 합니다. 믿음직함과 정교한 지식과 지혜를 갖춘 주님의 사역자가 되기를 소망하며 헌신합시다.

- 사역자는 하나님의 깊은 사랑과 위로를 통하여 치유되고 회복됩니다. 사역자는 자기 자신을 심판하지 않고 다른 사람에 의해서도 심판을 받지 않습니다. 오직 사역자를 심판하시는 분은 하나님 이십니다.(4절) 그리하여 주님이 다시 오실 때에 하나님으로부터 칭찬을 받도록 하나님의 인도하심을 받게 됩니다

- 사역자는 자유합니다. 사도바울은 사역자로서 양심에 거리끼는 것이 없다고 말합니다. 즉 누군가를 인도하는 사역자로서 하나님의 부르심에 응답하여 사명공동체로 살아가기 때문입니다. 사명을 완수하고 주님앞에 설 때까지 매일 매일 신실한 모습으로 살아가며 하나님 나라의 상급과 하나님의 칭찬을 소망하며 살아가야 합니다.

「15」 if it doesn't, your part of the building will be torn out and started over. But you won't be torn out; you'll survive--but just barely.

「16」 You realize, don't you, that you are the temple of God, and God himself is present in you?

「17」 No one will get by with vandalizing God's temple, you can be sure of that. God's temple is sacred--and you, remember, are the temple.

「18」 Don't fool yourself. Don't think that you can be wise merely by being up-to-date with the times.

「19」 Be God's fool--that's the path to true wisdom. What the world calls smart, God calls stupid. It's written in Scripture, He exposes the chicanery of the chic.

「20」 The Master sees through the smoke screens of the know-it-alls.

「21」 I don't want to hear any of you bragging about yourself or anyone else. Everything is already yours as a gift--

7/23 "하나님께서 자라게 하신다" (고전 3)

[설교 말씀 요약]

교회 성도들은 천국을 미리 경험하고 연습하는 특권을 가지고 있습니다.

성도의 삶을 살펴보면 하나님 나라(천국)이 이미 임했다는 증거를 갖게 됩니다.

오늘은 천국을 경험하게 하는 세가지 말을 소개합니다. 계속 우리의 삶에 이렇게 말하는 연습을 하시길 부탁 드립니다.

첫번째, 천국의 말은 "하나님이 하셨습니다"

- 6절, 나는 심고, 아볼로는 물을 주었습니다. 그러나 하나님께서 자라게 하셨습니다.

- 교회안에 성숙한 사람, 지혜로운 사람들이 있습니다. (지난 주 설교 참조). 그러나 많은 사람들은 신앙생활을 하고 있어도 '아직 영적으로 젖을 먹고있는 상태'에 있습니다. 우리는 영적으로 자라야 합니다. 사람과 환경이 우리를 자라게 하는 것이 아니라, 그 모든 것을 통하여 하나님께서 우리를 자라게 하십니다.

- 그러므로 우리는 서로 서로를 향하여 천국의 말로 격려해야 합니다. "주님이 자라게 하십니다", "주가 일하십니다", "주님이 다스리십니다", '하나님이 하셨습니다"

- 그리고 우리는 "힘써 주님을 알자, 힘써 여호와 하나님을 알자"라고 격려해야 합니다.

두번째, 천국의 말은 "나는 집사입니다. I am a servant. 나는 하나님의 동역자입니다"

- 5절, 그렇다면 아볼로는 무엇이고, 바울은 무엇입니까? 아볼로와 나는 여러분을 믿게 한 일꾼들이며, 주님께서 우리에게 각각 맡겨 주신 대로 일하였을 뿐입니다.

- 시기와 싸움, 분노와 경쟁심, 비방과 수군거림, 교만과 무질서를 갖고 있는 교회의 모습은 영적으로 어리다는 증거입니다.

- 하나님은 교회에 집사(일꾼)를 세우셔서 영적으로 어린 사람들이 자라도록 일하게 하십니다. 집사는 직분이 아니라 사역입니다. 집사는 섬김을 받는 사람(vip)을 위해 수건을 들고 섬기는 일꾼(servant,종)입니다. 그래서 일꾼은 자기에게 맡겨진 일을 성실하게 감당해야 합니다. 그런데 하나님은 일꾼들을 하나님의 동역자로 인정하십니다. 일꾼들이 하나님께 인정받는 다는 것에 큰 감동이 있습니다. 하나님의 동역자로 살아간다는 그 감동과 감격은 어떤 것보다 가치가 있습니다

- 그래서, 하나님의 동역자는 두 가지 중요한 질문을 하면 자신의 사역을 하게 됩니다. 첫째, 이 일은 하나님이 기뻐하시는 일인가? 둘째, 영혼구원하여 제자만드는 사명(One Commandment)에 도움이 되는 일인가?

세번째, 천국의 말은 "우리는 하나님의 밭이며, 하나님의 건물입니다"

- 9절, .. 여러분은 하나님의 밭이며, 하나님의 건물입니다.

- 하나님은 우리 교회가 열매를 맺는 밭이 되기를 원하십니다. 하나님은 우리 교회가 무너지지 않는 성전(건물의 가치)이 되기를 원하십니다.

- 우리가 맺어야 하는 열매는 "예수님의 삶"입니다. 예수님의 삶을 사는 것이 우리의 열매입니다. 예수님의 삶은 예수님의 사역(preaching-같이 밥먹기, teaching-간증하기, healing-기도하고 기도응답 받기기)과 예수님의 성품(성령의 열매 9가지)입니다. 예수님 처럼 영혼을 구원하고 예수님 처럼 성령의 열매를 맺으며 살아야 합니다.

- 무너지지 않는 성전이 되는 것은 우리의 믿음이 다음 세대로 이어지는 것입니다.

대지3. 우리는 하나님의 밭이며, 하나님의 건물이다

God's field, God's building

- 주가 일하셔서, 열매를 맺는 밭이 되게 하십니다

- 주가 일하셔서, 무너지지 않는 건물을 짓게 하십니다

- The Lord works, making it a fruit-bearing field

- The Lord is at work, making us build a building that will not collapse

(고전 3:1-9, 새번역) “「1」 ①형제자매 여러분, 나는 여러분에게 영에 속한 사람에게 하듯이 말할 수 없고, 육에 속한 사람, 곧 그리스도 안에서 어린 아이 같은 사람에게 말하듯이 하였습니다.

「2」 나는 여러분에게 젖을 먹였을 뿐, 단단한 음식을 먹이지 않았습니다. 그 때에는 여러분이 단단한 음식을 감당할 수 없었습니다. 사실 지금도 여러분은 그것을 감당할 수 없습니다.

「7」 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.

(고전 3:1-9, MSG) “「1」 But for right now, friends, I'm completely frustrated by your unspiritual dealings with each other and with God. You're acting like infants in relation to Christ,

「2」 capable of nothing much more than nursing at the breast. Well, then, I'll nurse you since you don't seem capable of anything more.

「3」 As long as you grab for what makes you feel good or makes you look important, are you really much different than a babe at the breast, content only when everything's going your way?

「4」 When one of you says, "I'm on Paul's side," and another says, "I'm for Apollos," aren't you being totally infantile?

「5」 Who do you think Paul is, anyway? Or Apollos, for that matter? Servants, both of us--servants who waited on you as you gradually learned to entrust your lives to our mutual Master. We each carried out our servant assignment.

「6」 I planted the seed, Apollos watered the plants, but God made you grow.

「7」 It's not the one who plants or the one who waters who is at the center of this process but God, who makes things grow.

「8」 Planting and watering are menial servant jobs at minimum wages.

「9」 What makes them worth doing is the God we are serving. You happen to be God's field in which we are working. Or, to put it another way, you are God's house.
