"속히 구원하소서" (Make speed to save me)

1. 기도란 감사를 향해 나아가는 것이다.

신자는 기도의 성숙이 필요합니다. Being Christian에서 John Cassian은 4가지 기도의 모습을 알려줍니다.
첫번째, 신자는 자신의 필요를 하나님께 열어 보이는 간구(Supplication)의 기도를 합니다. 두번째, 신자는 하나님께 자신을 드리는 약속의 기도인, 헌신(Commitment)의 기도를 합니다. 세번째, 신자는 자신의 신분인 왕같은 제사장으로서 이웃과 세계를 위해 중보(Intercession)의 기도를 합니다. 네번째 신자는 감사(Thanksgiving)의 기도를 합니다. 감사란 하나님께서 신자에게 베푸신 좋은 일들을 통해 하나님께 고마움을 표하는 것이며, 하나님의 선하심에 푹젖어서 감사의 기도를 드리게 됩니다. 이렇게 4가지 기도를 배우고 기도시간을 점점 더 늘려가시기 바랍니다.

2. 기도란 하나님이 신자안에서 행하시도록 맡기는 것이다

예수님이 가르쳐 주신 기도에는 "우리를 시험에 들게 하지 마시옵고"라는 기도가 있습니다. (Lead us not into temptation.) 신자가 이 기도를 하면 하나님은 정말 신자를 시험에 빠뜨리지 않으실까요? 아닙니다. 성경에 나오는 사람들은 늘 시험을 겪었습니다. 그러나 그들은 시험에 떨어져 전혀 벗어날 길이 없게 되는 삶을 살지는 않았습니다. 예수님은 말할 수 없는 압박과 고통 한가운데서도 하나님의 뜻이 이루어 지기를 기도하셨습니다. 그리스도께서는 시험을 당했으나 무방비 상태로 시험에 빠지지 않았습니다. 신자는 예수 그리스도의 생명이 신자에게 강하게 나타나 시험에 패배하지 않도록 도와주시기를 기도해야 합니다. 워십프론티어 교회의 신자들은 서로서로에게 어려움이 왔을 때 기도하면서 문제를 극복하는 모습을 보여줄 수 있기를 바랍니다.

3. 자주 간단하게 기도한다.

신자는 자주 간단하게 기도하는 훈련을 해야 합니다. 왜냐하면, 신자가 기도할 때, 하나님이 신자안에서 일하시기 때문입니다. "기도는 점차 신자가 행하는 일이 아니라, 하나님께서 신자 안에서 행하시도록 맡기는 일로 변해간다"는 고백은 깊은 기도를 정확한 표현한 것입니다.
신자는 "자주 간단하게 기도하라"는 권면을 받아들어야 합니다. "자주"라는 말은 "기도를 꾸준히 해서 몸에 배도록 하라"는 뜻입니다. 이렇게 기도하는 이유는 "예수님이 하나님 아버지와 누렸던 그 하나됨"을 누리기 위해서 입니다. "아버지와 아들, 아들과 아버지 사이의 일치가 신자의 의식과 정신을 가득 채우게 된다"라고 John Cassian은 말합니다. 어떠한 상황에서도 사방으로 흩어지려는 신자의 마음을 붙잡아 세우기 위해서는 '작은 기도문"이 필요하다고 합니다. 아래에 몇가지 기도문을 소개합니다.

1. Prayer is a movement toward gratitude.

Believers need to mature in prayer. In Being Christian, John Cassian identifies four forms of prayer.
First, the believer prays a prayer of Supplication, in which the believer opens his or her needs to God. Second, the believer prays a prayer of Commitment, a prayer of promise in which the believer gives himself or herself to God. Third, the believer prays a prayer of Intercession, a prayer of promise to offer himself to God. The fourth prayer is a prayer of Thanksgiving, in which the believer expresses gratitude to God for all the good things God has done for him or her, and is overwhelmed by God's goodness. We hope that you will learn these four prayers and spend more and more time in prayer.

2. Prayer is about letting God work in the believer

One of the prayers Jesus taught us is, "Lead us not into temptation." (Lead us not into temptation.) When a believer prays this prayer, does God really keep the believer out of temptation? No. People in the Bible were tempted all the time, but they didn't live their lives in such a way that they fell into temptation and had no way out. Jesus prayed that God's will would be done, even in the midst of unspeakable pressure and suffering. Christ was tempted, but He didn't fall into temptation defenselessly. The believer should pray that the life of Jesus Christ will be strong in the believer to help him or her resist temptation. It is hoped that the believers of the Church of the HopeFrontier will demonstrate to each other that when difficulties come, they pray and overcome them.

3. Pray often and simply.

The believer should practice frequent and simple prayer because when the believer prays, God works in the believer. The confession that "prayer gradually becomes less something the believer does and more something the believer allows God to do in the believer" is an accurate description of deep prayer.
The believer should embrace the exhortation to "pray often and simply." The word "often" means "pray consistently so that it becomes ingrained in you." The reason for this is to enjoy "the oneness that Jesus enjoyed with God the Father." "The unity between the Father and the Son and the Son and the Father fills the believer's consciousness and spirit," says John Cassian. It has been said that "little prayers" are needed to hold the believer's heart in place when circumstances threaten to scatter it in all directions. Here are a few of these prayers

"속히 구원하소서" (Make speed to save me)

1. 기도란 감사를 향해 나아가는 것이다.

기도라는 주제를 시작하면서, 신자는 기도의 성숙이 필요하다는 말씀을 드렸습니다. 신자는 하나님의 아들 예수의 영으로 기도합니다. 그리하여 신자는 예수가 계신 곳에서 예수의 말(기도)을 하게 됩니다. 하나님은 신자가 기도를 시작할 때 하나님의 일을 시작하십니다. 그리하여 신자는 최선을 다하여 기도해야 합니다.
예수님은 우리안에서 기도하십니다. 그리하여 신자는 예수안에서 변화되고 성숙하게 됩니다. 신자의 기도는 예수가 자신안에서 기도하게 하는 것입니다.
Being Christian에서 기도라는 주제를 위해 소개하는 3번째 인물은 John Cassian입니다.
John Cassian은 4가지 기도의 모습을 알려줍니다.
첫번째, 간구(Supplication)의 기도입니다. 간구의 기도는 신자가 자신의 필요를 하나님께 열어 보이는 것입니다.

기도를 배우고 기도의 성숙을 위해서는 신자는 기도시간을 점점 더 늘려야 합니다. 그 결과로 신자는 기도를 시작하게 된 동기가 어떠하든지 결국 감사의 기도를 더욱더 하게 되는 것입니다. 기도란 감사를 향해 나가가는 것이라고 할 수 있습니다.

2. 기도란 하나님이 신자안에서 행하시도록 맡기는 것이다

그러나 놀라지는 마십시오. 하나님이 신자의 가슴과 마음 깊은 곳에 자리 잡기 시작하시기 때문입니다.
그래서 신자는 "자주 간단하게 기도하라"는 권면을 받아들어야 합니다. "자주"라는 말은 "기도를 꾸준히 해서 몸에 배도록 하라"는 뜻입니다. 여기서 주의 해야 할 것은 자신이 잘하고 있다는 만족감을 채우기 위해 "기도 시간"을 늘리려고 애쓰지 않아야 한다는 것입니다.
"자주 간단하게 기도해야 하는 이유"는 "예수님이 하나님 아버지와 누렸던 그 하나됨"을 누리기 위해서 입니다. "아버지와 아들, 아들과 아버지 사이의 일치가 신자의 의식과 정신을 가득 채우게 된다"라고 John Cassian은 말합니다.

기도하는 신자는 하나님의 선하심을 더욱더 알게 되어, 무슨 일을 만나든지 포기하지 않고 더욱더 하나님을 의지하게 됩니다. 기도하는 중에 혼란스러움이 나타나기도 하지만, 또한 당황하고 낙심하는 일이 나타나기도 하지만, 끝까지 포기하지 않는 것입니다. 그래서 몸에 밴 작은 기도는 너무나 소중한 것입니다.

1. Prayer is a movement toward thanksgiving.

As we began this topic on prayer, we said that the believer needs to mature in prayer. The believer prays in the Spirit of Jesus, the Son of God, so that the believer speaks the words (prayers) of Jesus where Jesus is. God begins His work when the believer begins to pray, and the believer should pray to the best of his ability.
Jesus prays in us, so the believer is transformed and matured in Jesus. The believer's prayer is to let Jesus pray in him or her.
The third person that Being Christian introduces to the topic of prayer is John Cassian.
John Cassian identifies four forms of prayer.
The first is the prayer of supplication. In a prayer of supplication, the believer opens up his or her needs to God.
Second, the prayer of Commitment. A prayer of commitment is a promise or vow that the believer confesses to God. "You're there for me; I'm going to be here for you - You're there for me; I'm going to be here for you."
The third prayer is the prayer of intercession. When a believer commits his or her life to the Lord, the believer becomes a royal priest, interceding as befits his or her status.
The fourth prayer is a prayer of thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is an expression of gratitude to God for the good things God has done for the believer. In addition, the believer is so overwhelmed by God's goodness that he or she prays a prayer of thanksgiving.
To learn to pray and to mature in prayer, the believer must spend more and more time in prayer. As a result, the believer will eventually pray more and more prayers of thanksgiving, no matter what motivated him or her to begin praying. Prayer is a movement toward gratitude.

2. Prayer is about allowing God to work in the believer

If a believer prays this prayer, will God really not lead them into temptation? No. People in the Bible were tempted all the time, but they didn't live their lives in such a way that they fell into temptation and had no way out of it. Even in the midst of unspeakable pressure and suffering, Jesus prayed that God's will would be done. Christ was tempted, but He did not fall into temptation defenselessly. The believer should pray that the life of Jesus Christ will be strong in the believer to help him or her resist temptation.

It's not just a momentary relief that leads to more prayer; it's Jesus in the believer touching the depths of the believer. Tears of penitence, tears of joy, and even tears of sorrow flow. There will be times when you lose your peace of mind, when your emotions run wild, when you panic, when you become discouraged.
But don't be alarmed. Because God begins to take up residence deep within the heart and mind of the believer.
So the believer should take the exhortation to "pray often and simply," and by "often," we mean "pray consistently so that it becomes ingrained in you." The caveat here is that you shouldn't try to increase your "prayer time" to fulfill a sense of satisfaction that you're doing a good job.
The reason to "pray often and simply" is to enjoy "that oneness that Jesus enjoyed with God the Father." "The unity between the Father and the Son and the Son and the Father fills the believer's consciousness and mind," says John Cassian.
So, as Rowan Williams explains, "You live as a human being, confined to a particular space, but because prayer has taken over your body, you see everything around you in the light of God."

It's been said that "little prayers" are needed to ground and anchor the believer's heart in any situation. Here are a few of these prayers

* The Eastern Christian "Jesus Prayer" - a prayer that repeats, "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner."
*John Cassian's Little Prayer - "O God, make speed to save me"
This prayer is based on the words of Psalm 40:13. "Lord, have mercy on me and deliver me. Make speed to help me, O Lord."
