The flow and order of worship will be adjusted.
The text "Solidarity" was placed on the front page of the church homepage. I added the word "Unity" to mean union and connection, as I believe it carries a deeper meaning. Our church strives to build a biblical community while actively working towards saving souls and making disciples. A key characteristic of a biblical church is the natural occurrence of "biblical division of ministry," leading to solidarity and unity. In this model, the pastor focuses on pastoral duties, and the congregation engages in their respective roles, utilizing the gifts and love bestowed by the Lord to build the body of Christ and reach maturity as a community (Ephesians 4:11-16).
The year 2024 is anticipated to be a remarkable time when "winter will pass, the rain will stop, and we will hear the voice of the Lord, rising up and going with the Lord" (Song of Songs 2:10-13). The primary prayer focus for this year is for "Sunday worship to be filled with abundant grace," and for believers to gain strength. Worship services rich in grace are viewed as an essential lifeline for believers.
Starting from February, there will be a change in the order of Sunday worship. A worship leader will be appointed to lead the beginning of the service, with praise time as the first order of worship. This adjustment aims to allow all participating believers to engage in heartfelt and mindful praise.
During worship, praise is emphasized as a special place of grace. Gratitude is expressed to the praise team for their dedicated work despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 situation. All believers, whether they have contributed previously or are interested in praise ministry, are encouraged to dedicate themselves and participate in various ways.
Sunday service prayers, previously centered around shepherds, will now include time for offerings during worship. Those making offerings are requested to write a thank-you-statement on the offering envelope, and online donors are encouraged to prepare a thank-you-statement and place it in the offering box. Video advertisements may be used to ensure a smooth flow of worship. The hope is that testimonies of salvation and ministry will continue to be shared during worship services, with a life study completion ceremony scheduled for February 11th, providing an opportunity for abundant testimonies.

교회 홈페이지 첫 화면에 “Solidarity”라는 글을 넣었습니다. 연합과 연결이라는 의미로 Unity라는 단어를 넣었다가 좀더 깊은 의미를 갖고 있다고 생각하여 이 단어를 넣었습니다,
우리교회는 영혼구원하여 제자만드는 방향을 향하여 나아가면서 성경적인 교회를 세우는 것을 위해 최선을 다하는 교회입니다. 성경적인 교회의 분명한 특질은 “성경적인 사역분담”이 자연스럽게 일어나 서로 연결되고 연합되는 모습(solidarity)이 나타나는 것입니다. 그래서 목사는 목사의 일을 하고, 성도는 성도의 일을 하는 것입니다. 그리하여 성도는 주님이 주시는 은사와 사랑으로 그리스도의 몸(교회)를 세우고 공동체의 성숙안에서 그리스도를 아는 일과 믿는 일에 충만한 경지에 이르게 됩니다. (에베소서 4:11-16)
2024년은 “겨울도 지나고 비도 그치고, 주님의 목소리를 듣고 일어나 주님과 함께 나아가는” 놀라운 때가 될 것입니다.(아가서 2:10-13) 올 해 중점기도제목 첫번째는 “주일예배에 풍성한 은혜가 넘쳐 신자들이 힘을 얻게 하소서” 입니다. 은혜가 풍성한 예배를 드리는 것은 신자에게는 없어서는 안되는 생명줄과 같은 것입니다.
이제 2월부터 주일 예배 순서에 변화가 있습니다. 예배 사회자를 세워 예배시작을 인도할 것이며, 예배 첫 순서는 찬양 시간이 됩니다. 예배에 참여하는 신자 모두가 마음과 뜻을 다하여 힘껏 찬양하기 위해서 입니다.
예배할 때 찬양은 매우 특별한 은혜의 자리가 됩니다. 이 자리를 빌어 저는 주일 예배를 위해 수고한 찬양팀에게 큰 감사를 전합니다. 코로나 19의 상황속에도 찬양팀 형제 자매들은 특공대처럼 예배를 준비하고 찬양을 인도하였습니다. 주님이 그 모든 수고와 헌신을 결코 잊지 않을 것입니다. 이제까지 수고한 분들 뿐만 아니라 찬양 사역에 관심이 있는 분들은 다양한 모습으로 헌신하고 참여해 주시길 부탁드립니다.
주일 예배 기도자는 목자님들을 중심으로 부탁을 드렸습니다. 예배중에 봉헌하는 시간을 가지려고 합니다. 헌금하는 분들은 꼭 헌금 봉투에 감사제목을 쓰시고, 온라인으로 헌금하신 분들도 감사제목을 써서 헌금함에 넣으실 수 있도록 준비하려고 합니다. 광고는 가능하면 영상광고를 준비해서 예배의 흐름이 잘 이어지도록 하려고 합니다. 예배중에 구원간증, 사역간증 (삶공부 수료 간증 등)이 계속 이어지기를 소망하고 있습니다. 2월 11일에 삶공부 수료식이 있는데, 예배중 간증이 풍성하게 일어나는 기회가 될 것 같습니다.
성도들이 서로 서로 연결되고, 예배의 순서도 잘 이어져서 예배를 통해 주님을 깊이 만날 수 있기를 바랍니다. – 최목사 드림
