** 등록: 카톡 투표 (스키, 튜빙, 불참 )

*출발: 18일(토) 교회에서 8:30am 에 합니다.

(*8:00~8:30 - 아침, 베이글)

*장소: 2시간 20분 거리의 스키장(추후 정확히 공지)

*참가비: 10불

*내용 활동: 스키, 눈썰매, 쉼 (입장료 교회 지원)

*스키장 일정: 11:30 am ~ 4:30 pm

*점심: 교회에서 준비

개인준비물: 스키장비, 개인 간식, 스키복장(따뜻하게)

차량 필요함: 개스비 교회에서 지원함

<안내 말씀>

1. 최종 장소 확정: 현재, 2곳의 스키장중에서 한곳을 결정해야 합니다. 17일 점심때쯤 최종 장소를 알리겠습니다. 최종 장소를 알게 되면, 스키장비 렌트를 해야 할 경우, 스키장 싸이트에 들어가셔서 장비 렌탈 예약을 하시길 바랍니다.

2. 눈썰매(sledding)

인원과 시간을 미리 예약해야 합니다. 등록시, 눈썰매를 탈것이라는 것을 꼭 표시하시길 바랍니다.

3. 최종 등록 마감과 인터넷 예약

- 스키장 특성상, 전날에 인터넷으로 예약을 해야 합니다. 17일(금) 오후 5시까지 꼭 참석 여부를 알려주시길 바랍니다.

4. 스키장비 렌탈: 보스턴에서 미리 렌탈(가격은 현지 보다 저렴하나 픽업시간과 리턴시간을 잘 고려해야 함) / 현지에서 렌탈(온라인으로 하루 전날 예약해야 함, 가격이 이 지역보다는 높음)

5. 차량: 교회에서 개스비 지원 (현재 최목사 7인승 미니밴이 있음, 등록시 차를 가져 갈 수 있는 지 알려주시길 바람)

헌아식 Baby Dedication

아이가 출생하여 첫 교회방문의 날에 워십프론티어 교회는 예배중에 헌아식을 합니다.

자녀들이 대학교에 가서도 믿음을 지키도록 하기 위하여서는 집 떠나기 전에 신앙교육을 철저히 시켜야합니다. 어린이나 청소년 사역자가 바뀌더라도 혼란이 없도록 유아부, 유치부, 초등부, 중고등부, 각 교육부서가 공동 목표를 갖고 일관성 있게 자녀들을 교육시켜야 합니다.

이를 위한 첫 출발이 헌아식 입니다. 아이의 부모와 교회가 아이의 신앙을 위해서 어떻게 양육할 것이며 이를 위하여 어떠한 역할을 할 것인지를 결단하는 시간입니다. 이를 위해 다음과 같은 믿음의 고백과 결단이 중요합니다.

첫째, 헌아식을 통하여 부모는 자녀가 자신의 것이 아니라 하나님의 소유이고 잠시 맡아서 양육하라고 맡겨주셨다는 신앙을 고백합니다. 그리하여 영적인 면과 도덕적인 면에서 하나님의 뜻을 좇아 양육하는 것이 가장 아이에게 유익하다고 인정하고 그렇게 키우겠다는 고백을 합니다.

둘째는 자녀들을 주님의 뜻에 맞게 양육하기 위하여서 하나님이 원하시는 부모, 하나님이 원하시는 부부가 되어야한다는 동의와 결단입니다.

셋째는 자녀가 어릴 적부터 신앙생활과 교회 생활 잘하도록 밀어주고 기도해주고 후원해주기로 약속하는 것입니다. 기독교 윤리의 유용성을 인정하고 자녀가 교회 생활을 하는 것을 적극 후원하겠다는 결단입니다.

헌신 기도를 할 때에 목사가 아기를 양손으로 들고 십자가 앞에 치켜 올려 하나님에게 바친다는 상징적인 의미로 아기를 하늘을 향해 올려들고 축복 기도를 합니다. 그 이후에 아이의 부모 뿐만 아니라 믿음의 가족들도 앞으로 나와 아이를 향하여 공동체 축복기도하게 됩니다.

On the day of a child's birth and first church visit, Worship Frontier churches hold a dedication ceremony during the service.

In order to ensure that your children are able to keep their faith when they go off to college, they need to be thoroughly educated in their faith before they leave home. To ensure that there is no confusion when children or youth ministers change, we need to have a common goal and consistency between the infant, preschool, elementary, middle, and high schools.

A good place to start is the dedication ceremony. It is a time for parents and the church to decide how the child will be educated for the sake of their faith and what role the church will play in this endeavor. The following statements of faith and commitment are important.

First, in the dedication ceremony, parents profess their belief that their children do not belong to them, but to God, who has entrusted them to their care and upbringing for a time, and that it is in their best interest to raise them according to God's will, both spiritually and morally.

Second is the agreement and determination to be the parents God wants us to be, the couple God wants us to be, in order to raise our children according to the will of the Lord.

The third is a promise to encourage, pray for, and support your children in their faith and church life from an early age, recognizing the usefulness of Christian ethics and committing to actively support them in their church life.

During the dedication prayer, the minister holds the baby with both hands and holds it up in front of the cross, symbolically offering it to God, and says a prayer of blessing. Afterward, the child's parents, as well as other believing family members, come forward to pray a community blessing over the child.

청년 캠핑 "부족하니 캠핑이다!" (7/19-20)

뜨거운 여름을 시원하게! 보스턴에서 가까운 숲 속에서 1박 캠핑을 합니다.

일시: 7월 19일(금) 1:30pm - 7월 20일(토)
장소: Fox Hill Cabin Campground at Hale Education
누가: 다율이부터 진삼형제님까지, 그리고 친구들을 초청합니다.
참고: 20일(토요 새벽기도 교회에서 있습니다. (업데이트함)

Cool off this hot summer! We're camping overnight in the woods close to Boston.You're invited. (Everyone is welcome!)

When: Friday, 19 July 1:30pm - Saturday, 20 July
Where: Fox Hill Cabin Campground at Hale Education
Who: Everyone from Danyul to Ginseng and friends are invited.
Notes: There will be no dawn prayer on the 20th (Saturday)

* 19일 점심(1:30pm) / 일찍 오셔서 원하시는 분은 South Beach에서 디스카운트 가격인 15불(일반 가격 25불)에 수영, 카약, 모레사장에서 호수바라보며 멍 때리기 ^^를 할 수 있습니다. 숲속에서 산책 가능합니다.

* 19일 오후 / 함께 텐트 치고 캠핑에 필요한 것들을 즐겁게 준비합니다. (텐트, 케노피, BBQ 그릴 준비, camp fire 장소 셋팅, Cabin 데코)

*19일 저녁 (식사시작: 6pm) / 맛있는 BBQ와 저녁 그리고 음악과 캠프파이어 ~ 즐거운 게임과 야식도 ^^

* 20일 일정은 좀더 살펴보고 있습니다. 20일(토)은 오후 6시까지 캠핑장과 Hale Education 장소를 사용할 수 있습니다. South Beach이용 가능합니다. 2시간 이상 산책도 가능합니다. ^^


* Lunch on the 19th (1:30pm) / If you come early, you can swim, kayak, or just stare at the lake from South Beach for a discounted price of $15 (regular price $25). Walk in the woods.

* Afternoon of the 19th / Together we will pitch our tents and have fun preparing the camping essentials (prepare tents, canopies, BBQ grill, set up campfire, decorate the cabin)

* Evening of the 19th / Dinner(6pm) -Delicious BBQ and dinner and music and campfire ~ fun games and late night snacks ^^.

*The 20th is still being worked out. On Saturday the 20th, the campsite and Hale Education site will be available until 6pm. South Beach is available. You can also go for a 2+ hour walk. ^^

준비물

WFC: 텐트, 케노피, BBQ 그릴, 저녁(K LA양념 갈비와 삼겹살), 음료수, 물, 수박, 공, 화장실 벌레 퇴치용 스프레이, 아이스 박스(ice, 음료수)


개인: 개인 텐트 가능함. 침낭(이불), 모기및 벌레 퇴치 스프레이, 개인 용품, 수영복, 산책에 필요한 것들


찬양팀: 간식및 야식 재료, 기타, 게임 진행, 사진 촬영

What to bring

WFC: Tent, canopy, BBQ grill, dinner (K LA marinated ribs and pork belly), drinks, water, watermelon, balls, toilet bug spray, ice, drinks

Private: Private tents available. Sleeping bag (quilt), mosquito and bug spray, personal items, swimsuit, things to wear for walks

Praise team: snacks and midnight snack ingredients, guitars, games, photography
